MSW Intern

Tayviana joined Renters’ Rights of Tennessee in August 2026 as a Social Work Intern.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Belmont University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at Belmont as well. She brings a strong background in student support, advocacy, community engagement, and resource coordination, with experience serving first-generation and low-income students as they navigate academic, personal, and professional challenges.

Tayviana is passionate about social justice, equity, and creating inclusive spaces where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered. Her experience includes individualized support and case management, resource navigation, program development, community outreach, and collaboration with schools, colleges, and community organizations. She is committed to meeting individuals where they are and connecting them with the resources and support needed to reach their goals.

Prior to joining RRTN, Tayviana worked in postsecondary success, where she supported students across two- and four-year institutions through academic coaching, retention and persistence efforts, resource coordination, and advocacy. Through her work at RRTN and her continued education in social work, she is committed to advancing access to resources, supporting individuals and families, and strengthening connections between clients and the broader community.

Outside of work Tayviana likes to strength train, sing songs with her daughter, and hang out with her friends, and travel.
