Citlali Padilla

(she/her/ella)

Director of Development and Grants

Citlali joined RRTN in 2024 as the Program Administrator and took on the Director of Development and Grants role in 2026.

Originally from Kansas, Citlali moved to Nashville in 2021 to pursue a Master’s in Theological Studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School. As a proud Latina and first-generation graduate student, she studied the intersections of religion, culture, and social justice, which fueled her passion for equity, advocacy, and amplifying marginalized voices.

Over the past two years, Citlali has found great joy in RRTN’s growth: from one program to three and from five employees to fourteen! With a strong Gen Z vibe, Citlali loves to bring silliness and chisme to the office, reflecting the importance of a good work-life balance.

In her free time, Citlali likes eating yummy food and binge-watching good shows with family and friends. She loves thrifting, collecting trinkets, building Lego sets, and playing fetch with her mini Australian Shepherd.
